Privacy
ProbGoal is an independent football analytics project operated by Laércio Rehem. This policy describes the personal data that may be processed when you visit probgoal.com or contact ProbGoal directly.
1. What ProbGoal currently collects
The website does not require an account or profile and does not use a public contact form. Browser push notifications are optional: if you choose to follow a club or match, ProbGoal stores the browser push endpoint, the public subscription keys supplied by your browser, your six alert preferences and the teams or matches you follow. ProbGoal application code does not intentionally set optional analytics, advertising or profiling cookies in the current build.
Hosting, network and security infrastructure may nevertheless process technical request data such as IP address, browser/user-agent information, requested URL, request time, network identifiers and security events where necessary to deliver, protect or troubleshoot the service.
2. Optional push notifications
Push alerts are activated only after you interact with a Follow control and grant notification permission in your browser. The private VAPID signing key remains server-side. Push subscription records are used only to deliver the alert types you enabled for followed Champions League clubs or matches. Invalid or expired endpoints may be removed automatically, including when the push service returns HTTP 404 or 410. You can unfollow individual clubs or matches in the interface and can revoke notification permission or remove the site notification subscription in your browser settings.
3. Email and direct contact
If you email ProbGoal, the message, your email address and any information you choose to include are processed so the enquiry can be reviewed and answered. Do not send sensitive personal information unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
4. Why information may be processed
Technical data may be processed to operate the website, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose faults and preserve service integrity. Contact information is processed to respond to enquiries, corrections, press requests, privacy requests or rights-holder concerns. Where applicable law requires consent for a future optional technology, ProbGoal will seek that consent before enabling it.
5. Infrastructure and service providers
ProbGoal uses third-party infrastructure to host, deploy, secure and operate the site and its development workflow. Those providers may process limited technical data under their own service terms and privacy arrangements. The public website does not expose ProbGoal API keys to visitors.
The editorial AI workflow is server-side and is designed to process football data prepared by ProbGoal, not visitor messages or browsing histories.
6. International processing
Infrastructure providers may operate systems in more than one country. Where personal data is transferred internationally, the relevant provider and site operator are expected to use the transfer mechanisms and safeguards required by applicable law.
7. Retention
ProbGoal does not promise a single retention period for all technical infrastructure logs because retention may depend on the provider, security purpose and operational need. Active push subscription records are retained while the subscription remains active or until they are removed because you unsubscribe, the endpoint expires, or the push service reports the endpoint as invalid. Delivery records may be retained for operational deduplication and reliability auditing. Direct correspondence may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain a correction/rights record or meet applicable legal obligations, and may then be deleted or archived as appropriate.
8. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you are located and the law that applies, you may have rights relating to access, confirmation of processing, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, information about sharing or international transfer, and withdrawal of consent where processing is based on consent. Some rights are subject to legal exceptions.
To make a privacy request, email contact@probgoal.com and describe the request sufficiently for it to be evaluated.
9. Children
ProbGoal is a general football information service and does not offer user accounts or knowingly request personal data from children through forms in the current build. If a child or guardian believes personal data has been provided inadvertently, contact ProbGoal so the issue can be reviewed.
10. Future analytics or advertising
If optional analytics, advertising or other non-essential storage technologies are introduced, this policy and the Cookie Policy will be updated and the required consent or preference controls will be implemented before those technologies are activated where required.
11. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when the product, providers or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version. Privacy enquiries: contact@probgoal.com.
